The School of Continuing and Professional Studies' Center for Publishing encourages students to pursue a mentored academic research study that specifically relates to their career path with the approval of their advisers. The independent projects can be taken for up to 2 credits prior to registering for independent study. Each student should obtain an Independent Study Approval Form from the adviser.
