Publishing Law: Issues in Intellectual Property

Intellectual property is the foundation of publishing, whether delivered through print or electronically. Such property is protected and regulated by copyrights, licenses, and other laws. This course examines some of the central ethical and legal issues editors and publishers face today by confronting issues like trademark law and the impact of price discrimination, antitrust, and unfair competition laws.
