Since 1943, the Center for Publishing has offered a full complement of courses, seminars, institutes, and workshops that cover the entire publishing spectrum. Our 40+ Certificate courses in Book, Magazine and Electronic Publishing provide professional education for close to 1,000 individuals each year.

To this array, The Master of Science Degree adds a respected academic credential for those who seek to move rapidly in their careers. Because of the Center's more than 50 years of publishing education experience, we have been able to draw on the expertise of faculty who have taught in our previous offerings and on the advice of members of our Board of Advisers, and to collaborate with other schools a New York University.
